After a weekend of events you often have two payout paths side by side: freelancers via invoices or credit invoices, and people on payroll or through a payroll provider. For that second path you need to send hours and specs somewhere — usually by rebuilding them from Excel or loose files again.
Flooptimize takes you through to approved hours. From there you can run an export that fits your payroll provider — not one generic file nobody can import.
How we set up exports with you
We do not build a “universal payroll” in one go. We work with customers toward exports that work in practice:
- Which provider do you use?Together we look at which payroll providers you work with, and what they need to process hours further.
- Export settings per providerFrom that we create export settings. You run an export that matches your provider — columns and shape as they need them.
- Free, and more providers over timeWe make that export free. Step by step we become compatible with more payroll systems, based on real customer demand.
Approve before export: approving hours with overview. The broader chain: processing hours and payouts.
Alongside freelancer credit invoices
Not everyone goes through payroll. For freelancers there is the credit invoice on approved hours. For contract / payroll, the export remains the bridge to your salary admin.
Both paths build on the same approved hours. The difference is what happens next: invoice versus export to the provider.
APIs and custom work (later)
Today: file export (often Excel), tuned per provider via those free settings.
Later we also look at API integrations — when there is enough demand per payroll provider. There is also room to develop a custom connection when a customer or provider needs a specific integration.
What Flooptimize is not here
Flooptimize is not a payroll office and not a replacement for your payroll provider. No payslips and no tax handling. Your provider stays where salary is paid out; we deliver approved hours in a shape that fits that step.
When manual is still enough
With very few people on payroll and one stable export routine that already runs smoothly, staying manual can still work. Once volume and peak weekends grow, a fixed export from approved hours pays off — especially when that export is already tuned to your provider.
How does this fit the rest?
- Chain: from job to payout
- Hours & approval: processing hours, approving hours
- Freelancers: credit invoice
- Here: export toward payroll
- Next: deeper backoffice hours review (U01) follows later
