Depending on the kind of business you run, you often work with the same products. Think burgers, coffee, or a fixed set of drinks at a bar. Those products sometimes sit with different concepts you run, and show up on the sales points you schedule.
In Flooptimize you can set those products up once, then easily link them to sales points on an event. Staff see in the portal exactly what is being sold, so everyone is better informed.
Products are optional. Like concepts, how useful they are depends a lot on how your business works. Food truck or event catering with a clear assortment? Then this often helps. A staffing agency that mainly sends people out without its own assortment? Then you will probably skip this.
What is a product?
A product is something you sell or serve at a sales point. You set it up once in the backoffice. Per product you can optionally add price, allergens, and preparation notes.
It is not a webshop and not a till. The goal is simple: assortment and briefing at the right place, so you do not keep sending that through chat or files.
How do you set products up?
- In the backoffice, create the products you actually see in practice.
- Link them to concepts where that fits (if you use concepts).
- Per event: link the right products to the sales points running that day.
- Staff see the assortment on their shift in the employee portal.
You do not need everything perfect at once. Start with what you sell often; add the rest when you need it.
What does the worker see?
On the shift in the portal, where you have set it up, they see what is sold at that place. Tap a product for details. Price, allergens, and preparation are optional: only what you filled in appears. So “what’s on today?” does not need another round of messages.

When can you skip products?
No assortment of your own, or “what we sell” barely matters for your crew? Leave products out. Flooptimize works without them.
Once you do run a fixed or rotating assortment across multiple trucks, stands, or zones, setting products up and linking them saves a lot of manual explaining.
